The calmest open-water windows and clearest snorkeling — peak demand runs December through April. Book early for shared berths; private commissions need more lead time for crew rotation.
Shoulder months
Late May and November can still sail with flexible routing. Expect more captain-led schedule shifts — safety over fixed marketing copy.
Monsoon (June–October)
Expeditions run weather-permitting only. Speedboat day tours also pause on rough days. If your trip is monsoon-only, build buffer days or plan Coron/El Nido separately.
